LeDeidre Turner is an Assistant Commissioner in the Prosecution and Adjudication Division of the City of Chicago's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP). In this role she provides guidance, direction, and training to attorneys and law clerks in the division. She co-manages labor relations for the department and assists all divisions with labor-management issues. LeDeidre currently serves as a Recording Secretary for the Cook County Bar Association as well as the Chairperson of its annual Minority Law Student Job Fair, the largest job fair of its kind in the Midwest. She joined the LAF Board in 2018. She is involved with LAF because she strongly believes in the organization's mission to work together to provide high quality civil legal services to people living in poverty and other vulnerable groups and she wants to assist them in accomplishing this goal.
